October is Here
Fall has really come to Wisconsin! I am not ready for the cold yet. My kids are all back to school and all their activities and sports are getting started as well. I am looking forward to scrapbooking all the fun and relaxing times that we had this summer.

New Product
Well, after a very exciting trip to Chicago for the CHA trade show, we are back, and lots of new product is beginning to arrive! We have new acrylic stamps for fall, and Christmas, a new Baby line, 4 lines from a new company called KaiserCraft - I love these lines!! And more new things are still on the way! The racks are filling up fast. We also have several crops coming up, so get those summer pictures printed, and plan a trip to Cropportunities!

Vacation Tips for the Scrapbooker
As I prepare for a week of vacation, I want to share a couple of things that I do to help keep things organized for my vacation scrapbook. I always take an accordion folder with me, labeled Day 1 -Day???. I pack that along with a few note cards, and a pen. Then as we go through each day of our trip I write on the note card each night what we did that day, the temp, and any funny stories or other things that I may want to remember and I tuck that into the accordion folder along with any receipts, ticket stubs or other memorabilia. That way, when I get home and print my photos, I can just slip them into the folder, and get scrapbooking!
I also buy postcards to use in my scrapbook for some of the hard to take pictures.

Summer Time
Summer is here, and I know that since my youngest daughter Katie broke her ankle after an afternoon on the trampoline. She had an MRI this week, and got her cast on the day after her 8th birthday! So, Happy Birthday Katie!! I took pictures of the whole process, and saved the copies of the x-rays, and MRI results for her scrapbook. It will be a summer to remember at our house, and I can't wait to scrapbook it!!

Scrapbooking in 2008
Scrapbooking fills a need for many people. It is good therapy for most of us. A chance to be creative in our otherwise hectic lives. And I think that sometimes we forget "Why" we scrapbook. We get so caught up in the fact that we don't have time, or money, or any creativity that we loose sight of the importance of creating this family history.
So next time you sit down to work in an album or on a project think to yourself "Why do I scrapbook?" My answer to that question is: I scrapbook to remember, I scrapbook for the pleasure it brings me, I scrapbook for my children, I scrapbook for the social outlet, and I scrapbook for the therapy it provides me.
Happy Scrapping!

Brrr..
Brrr...it sure is cold! Too cold to be outside, so I am staying inside to scrapbook. My goal for 2008 is to scrapbook 208 pages. Last year I did 216 pages, so hopefully, I will make my goal for this year.
How about you? What are your scrapbook goals? To scrapbook xx times a month, or to get xx pages done a month. Let me know! Maybe we can help each other to reach our goals this year!
